Sustainable Promise
At Hoops, sustainability is a core part of our values. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact wherever possible, helping to preserve the world for future generations to enjoy.
We prioritise the use of recycled precious metals whenever we can. Our 9ct and 18ct gold is sourced from Fairtrade suppliers who use 100% recycled gold, helping to minimise the environmental and social challenges often associated with traditional mining practices.
All of our diamonds are sourced through trusted suppliers and are fully certified at origin. Every diamond we use complies with the Kimberley Process, ensuring responsible and conflict-free sourcing.
We work exclusively with suppliers who are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, reflecting our commitment to ethical and sustainable standards throughout our supply chain.
We are also proud that all of our custom packaging is fully recyclable and FSC® certified, supporting responsible forest management and sustainable sourcing.
Sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we encourage our customers to make conscious choices wherever possible. By supporting brands that prioritise ethical and environmentally responsible practices, together we can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Choosing jewellery made from precious metals can also support sustainability. Unlike many base metals, precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum retain significant value and can be recycled repeatedly without losing their quality or integrity. This makes them part of a circular economy, where materials are recovered, refined and reused rather than discarded.
Well-crafted jewellery is designed to last for generations, often becoming heirloom pieces that can be repaired, repurposed or remade rather than replaced. By investing in quality pieces made from precious metals, consumers can help reduce the demand for short-lived, disposable fashion accessories and the environmental impact associated with frequent replacement.
The enduring value and recyclability of precious metals mean that jewellery can remain in use for decades, making it a more sustainable choice.
